Every year, the Bowen Island Community Foundation awards grants of up to $25,000 to local charities (and their community partners) who are making our island more resilient, more connected, and more vibrant through inspiring, community-focused projects.
If you’ve ever swung a swing at the Westside Playscape, nabbed a knick-knack at the Nook, or trod a trail among the trees, you’ve been touched by a Community Impact Grant project!
Because these projects are chosen by you—through community conversations and lived experience—the funds go exactly where Bowen’s heart beats: in arts and culture, environmental protection, youth and seniors, community resilience, and more. The Community Impact Fund is built by your generosity—donations big and small—and its purpose is always the same: to honour what Bowen values, respond to our most urgent needs, and celebrate the power of neighbours helping neighbours.
