There is a need for more support of young people on Bowen Island whose lives and opportunities are being compromised as a result of drug use, trauma, and mental illness. The Bowen Youth at Risk Fund will provide both education for the community and treatment and counseling for young people on Bowen who are looking for assistance in dealing with these issues.
