The Bowen Island Community Foundation would like to thank both First Credit Union and Belterra Cohousing for their recent and generous acts of philanthropy. First Credit Union provided each purchaser of a unit in Belterra with $100, to be used for a charitable donation. Belterra’s residents then gave $1,000 to Bowen Island Community School for playground equipment, and a further $1,000 to our Foundation’s Helping Hand Fund, to be used for helping islanders in need. We would like to take this opportunity to applaud this generous spirit of giving, evident in the actions of both our local First Credit Union and Belterra Cohousing. We can assure you that your donation will be put to good use.
